Self Talk & Meditation
Everyone has concerns, doubts, worries, fears … swirling about, but some make their way through the day seemingly above the fray of life, why is that?
Much like the importance of a good breakfast, a brief period of meditation in the morning will stop the vortex of noise in your head and calm the winds, leaving you in a true awakened state.
Habits are learned and reinforced everyday as you know, and if your morning ritual has you reaching for your device, turning on the radio, reading the news in all its forms … filling your head with noise, why not change your routine and start another, one that will help you advance in life? (what is good about the news? Is it ever good?)
Positive self-talk comes from perspective, and perspective comes from considering your life from a calm place which you can so easily access. How can you possibly appreciate life and think things through when you are allowing yourself to be bombarded by all manner of noise to which you have NO real measure of influence.
If you want to have influence over what is your life, start from the start, which is the commencement of each day, as each day is an opportunity to create and enjoy a new beginning.
If you have not applied meditation (Yoga) in your life, you should, your life is all about YOU Working With YOU.
